Well we got our show hung and of course I forgot my camera, but I did remember to take a few phone pictures of my installation. Not the best quality but you get the idea.

NEWFOUNDLAND CHRONICLE: OUR GIRL OUT OF CONTEXT

Well our little girl is growing up almost 5 months old the only time she looks bigger to me is when she is out of context. Which she totally was when my son picked her up today. He's 5'11", now she looks big but next to Hanni, the other Newf that lives here, who is tall and heavy, 180 lbs. of heavy, she doesn't really look that big......

STUDIO MANIA AND THE FINAL COAT OF PAINT ON THE DOG

When I'm getting ready for a show I get an affliction I call "studio mania", it's so bad this time that I am even surprised at the level of chaos. The good news is I do take the time to tidy up before I start again for the next show......lol. The bad news was that this chaos spilled over into the kitchen as well as the studio.

A few more pieces for my "once upon a time" show. There will one piece that will be "once upon a time" in a future fairytale far far far....still need more paint including the big dawg.

WONDER OF WONDERS SHOW IN BOULDER

Okay we spent a good many hours hanging the Boulder Library show yesterday. Big space, very nice, open and bright. We had 5 artists who participated in this show with a carnival theme and it is very cool. Here are a few pictures, if you are interested in the reception it is April 29th 2-4.

SHOOTING GALLERY FINISHED

Finished the shooting gallery I was working on. This piece took forever AFTER it was all painted and just waiting to be assembled. We hang our show tomorrow in the Canyon gallery at the Boulder Library. I'm showing with Kathy Beekman, Penny Bidwell, Dave Seiler, and Tim Flynn. If you want to see this show the opening is April 20th 2-4. It's gonna be great, 'cause who doesn't love the carnival!

Final shooting gallery piece for Boulder show. I have lights to add and the frame needs to be painted and the heads get one more coat of paint then attached to the board.

AMAZING WHAT A COUPLE OF COATS OF PAINT WILL DO

It's amazing what a couple of coats of paint will do....!!! Taxidermy form with initial first coats of paint. So far 3 coats which is just the beginning.
