Babies are coming along the baby girl has her eyeballs but not painted yet. Looks like they have been fighting again. Last but not necessarily least, Kona in the snow today.
I have a kernel of an idea, I'm not sure where it goes so I'm building a prototype to start with. I have been wanting to do something with plants for about a year now. I got this idea a while back which started from a conversation that I had had with a friend. These are the components that I will be working with, a structure, a sculpture, plus lighting of some kind, and some unusual mosses.

Finished another altered book. Probably this is all that I will have time for before my show. It opens to several pages unlike the other two which only open flat and have an assemblage format.
Well its that time of year again when the deer and elk gather together for rutting season. The young bachelors bunch together and the single dominate males steal does from each other's herds. This group was literally beside the road so I snapped these pictures, check out the male.
Isn't that some political jargon "kitchen table", mine's a little different. Here's my table again with more projects on it. The twins are assembled, and I poured 3 more heads. I have an idea for those guys! Boy this stuff can be messy, I can't believe my family seems perfectly fine about eating all around this stuff, well they never say anything sooooo.
Started a commission piece which gave me an idea for another piece. Which is good because my show is looming up here too too too soon. I love this mold for a couple of reasons it's life size which enhances it's creepy factor plus it's not the usual plump pretty baby and lastly it's anatomically correct, thus two body molds, great fun. The first thing after pouring the parts is to join them and dry carefully.
Finished my Rafi today I started with paint and brush that totally did not work.....so I had to start over and put a spray coat of white over the paint and then proceed to air brush. The first color I used didn't look good so I switched over to hot pink, it worked so much better. Added a few things and done!!
We had our first snow here in the foothills outside Denver. Kona raced outside and was in the mix first thing this morning! She careened around, did running slides across the deck and hot tub and then sat on the benches, the queen of her domain.
