REPAIR AND REMODEL AND REVISIT

Here is the finished piece from repair and remodel added touches of paint and that did it. A couple more ATC's finished. My printer is broken so my projects that I'm currently working on are on hold which means I have to do things that I'm not necessarily wanting to do....okay, cleaning.  I SHOULD  clean bu-u-u-ut I don't really want to.

BAA BAA BLACK SHEEP

This light box is almost finished, for some reason this one is taking longer than I thought. I should have it finished by tonight.

CURIOUS LITTLE LAMBS

Here are the stars of my newest light box, they actually aren't finished they still need some more filler plus a paint job. You know they look slightly tortured, although it wasn't planned that way, oh well, they will have a good home!

ORCHIDS

Two more of my orchids are blooming I just love these little guys! The one looks like ink spatter isn't it great!!!
I'm working on more light boxes and this next one should be fun!!

A COUPLE OF ATCs

I didn't have much time last night but I do like to do something in my studio everyday. Cleaning didn't appeal to me that much so I did a couple of ATCs and here they are!!

BULLDOG ASSEMBLAGE REVISITED

Here is the finished assemblage you will note new items and some that were there before. That's how it goes with me. This one ended up with two layers of glass and paint over an existing collage all jam packed into an Altoid can! It is painted and ready to go. I wish I could photograph these better they flatten so much that it is hard to show all the layers in these smaller ones. I started with the collage of a man over the top of ledger writing. I decided at this point to use glass instead of objects in the center, I'm using glass right now and am completely enamored by it.

BULLDOG ASSEMBLAGE & TUTORIAL

I'm starting a new assemblage, shrine format, subject is bulldog. I was so mad last night I had the lights and eyes of this bulldog bottle cap working and then I was trying to shape the outside edge and the lights quit....arg-g-g made me mad!! Well that and I hit my finger with the hammer while I was shaping it....nice bruise....geez. Here's how I start these small assemblages, I grab a bunch of things that look "right" to me and that will fit into or just outside of a rusted and sealed Altoid tin, this is after I decide what the main subject matter is of course. These items tend to shift in and out as I work. This one I think will be multi layered, I can get 3 layers I think. The last one will probably be a transparency.
Btw it's going to get above 20 degrees today, a nice little break because it's going to snow and drop down to below 0 Sunday night...br-r-r-r-r-r.

REPAIR & REMODEL REVISISTED

Well it's drying and I think I'm pretty much finished or at least mostly!! Damaged roof and other things now fixed. First picture is the old one (before damage), the next one is the new one and the last is the major roof repair, lots cheaper than a real roof, hahahaha!! Below you can see that I put a transparency in each side window, more wolves.

REPAIR AND REMODEL

I'm in the process of fixing some pieces which had gotten broken in shipping and transportation. Kinda fun adding more stuff and changing things around. It's a sort of therapy, in a way because
you get a chance to step back take another look and make it better, instead of grousing about because it's broken. Here is a photo of the roof off and getting a face lift as well as a new paint job. Actually in looking at the old photo I noticed it is missing totally some pieces, hummmmmm. Now I am a little mad, better go work on it before it ruins my day.
