Finished Divine Intervention yesterday some painting with my right hand but more with my left.

I was in a fun Goth swap with people of exceptional talent. For the next few days I will be showing you some eye candy for the Goth lover in you! These two were made by (left to right) Marie Otero and LK.

DIVINE INTERVENTION

Here is the baby I made while totally on pain killers, using one hand.  I finally got to paint her ...still using my left hand, which btw is getting a lot more skilled. I made a  box for her last night but I'm not sure exactly how I will assemble it, yet.

WALLY THE ILLUSIVE WALRUS

Moving along with "the Wally" assemblage I had major problems with it last night. After it was all together I realized it was too deep a container to go without some kind of back lighting. Hummm what to do without taking it apart, because that would probably take another week...sigh. Well I figured out a solution which seems to have worked. I drilled a couple of small holes in the back along to edge where I had curved the background then took my snips and cut along the whole back pried open the hole a little and with the aid of my trusty screw driver pushed the lights in one by one (with my left hand). Today I'm going to arrange them a little better if I can. Since the background curved around the back it left enough space to stuff the lights into. Oh yes and "Wally" was just a touch too big so I had to break out the glass so he would fit......geez!

PROGRESS ON THE WALRUS ASSEMBLAGE

Well back to work!! I want to finish this assemblage and move on to one other that I would like to have in the Arvada show. Here I've cut the mirror and put in a curved background which gives it an erie "I'm looking thru 3-d glasses" look.

AT LAST!

At last a new cast and no pin....yea!!!!! Plus now I can drive....a little hard to shift but that will get easier. Can't quite hold a pencil yet but very soon.

BUNNY ASSEMBLAGE

Here is my cast friend week three...finally feeling better. I want to DRIVE.......Here is the start to another assemblage a cute little bunny baby.....you're probably wondering how I did this with only one hand. Yes it's true I  am that good......not. Had the help of my daughter who did the mold from my doll head, then she mixed the paper mache for the mold. I did the rest by making the ears and adding a few touches here and there.
