More work is needed on the outside of the picture in the frame area, I think the inside is almost done. The pancakes and syrup were a little hard to get to stand out against the background but I feel they work pretty well now.
I decided to try to get two more pictures done before the CCAF next weekend. This painting is inspired by Josh Keyes really great work. The first image is before I added the raccoons and the crow.
Hey all in the Denver area don't forget the CCAF. I will be in booth E2, between Fillmore and Milwaukee on 3rd street near culinary avenue. The event starts at 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday on Sunday it's 9:00 am-6:00 pm. Be sure to swing in and say hi!!
Found this cool picture of a fox and so decided to make another large painting featuring this guy! We have a couple of fox that live nearby and they are interesting critters. Much smarter than my Newfie who escapes every so offen to chase them but of course doesn't come within a country mile of them. Once we had a black, red fox which sounds like a contradiction but they come in all shades of red to buff and once in awhile black! This is the beginning so stay tuned for a lot of changes.
Well, starting the next piece which is about this clowning horse picture I found and thought it was cute so I decided to use it! The backgrounds have been fun but really time consuming because they are all about experimenting and finding the look I like and I am getting closer. Once I get better at achieving the look I like I will share it with you.
He looks a little divine! Started this yesterday and happy so far with how it's turning out, this piece is larger than I usually work, 20x30....I know that isn't big in the art world but for me, well heck, it's big but not huge!!!
