THE FOG

Yes the Fog, not the Mist which was a really scary Stephen King book/movie. It's cold and dreary today so I got a lot done, weather like this always gives the feeling of being wrapped in a cocoon. I have my CCAF application finished and I'm just needing to check it over before I send it in. When I took a break today I noticed the fog was starting to freeze on the trees, very pretty, it also freezes on the side of the tree that the fog is coming from.....pretty cool.

THE PLOT, A SHOW AT PIRATE

Spent a couple of days setting up my show at first there were a few obstacles to overcome but after hauling the last show out and patching and painting we finally started.

BABY SNAILS

Finished 3 baby snails the other day for my upcoming show and I am really liking these guys. I'm planning to plant a little moss in the scoop of the shell by their faces.

My show is at Pirate Gallery 3655 Navajo, Denver, November 16, 6-10.

ENVIRONMENT

Working on the idea of place and environment to give my sculpture more context. I use to work in a greenhouse so this was an obvious step for me. I'm using moss in these environments, my head is spinning with all the possibilities........

MY DOG KONA LIKES......

My dog Kona likes to be on top of the pile where ever that might be. She delights in heights the higher the better. First shot is her on one of her favorite perches, in addition she very much likes the top of the hot tub as well although the bench gives her the view around the house. The second is her on top of the back of the couch, a little to much like a cat.
