This is going to sound insane, as I was looking at the outside of the altered photo album, trying to decide if I wanted to alter the outside, and noticed FOR THE FIRST TIME that the back was not celluloid but a green velvet with a floral pattern printed on it. How in the world did I miss that? I think I will blame it on my cold. At any rate I decided that I loved the outside so much that I will leave it as is. Here is the front and back and final chapter.
In the second panel of the center of the book I have a very flat deceased snake.....both the mouse and the snake are just the right amount of flatness to fit perfectly in the book. Just a little something to add interest.

Working on a new altered book, this one is a larger album than I have been doing it's been very fun so far almost half done.
Finished the elephant and starting altered book. Also I noticed that the puppy (did I say I wasn't going to mention the puppy for a while) makes quite a mess with his toys not unlike his human counterparts.....
Worked all day yesterday on this elephant picture, now I've just got a couple of things to add and I will be done. For some reason I didn't try this before on my walls but it occurred to me that a nice gel transfer would look perfect and it does. Why am I always last to my own dance?
Okay maybe this will be the last photos for a while of the puppy......but he's so darn cute.

I guess the first thing after a snow like this last one should go something like "well, but we need the moisture", and this time that is true. The timing was awesome on this last storm because, I painted and took photos all day. Here's the snow storm and the dog painting in progression......
