BABY IN A CAGE

Still don't know if I like the clothes very much, so that is not resolved. A shot of him in his cage. Still needing something.....besides signage. Maybe more decoration on the cage.

 

ON GOING PROCESS

He's got clothes but I'm not sure I like that so the clothes may go. Here is his new digs, not finished still painting it. I'm changing some color the bottom has been painted black again already.

NEW LITTLE BABY SCULPTURE

I've had this baby kicking around my studio for sometime now and have been meaning to do something with him so yesterday I startined working on him. I had a ceramic body which I glued together and then attached this old cracked doll head. Then I sprayed the whole thing white and after that I added color around the eyes, hands and feet. In his mouth are my dog's puppy teeth......I need to reposition them though.

Just finished this one yesterday it is 12x24, kinda fun just using graphic elements.

STUDIO AND FINISHED ASSEMBLAGE

Well Sarah is moving out of our studio, kinda sad and kinda exciting at the same time. I am going to try and go it alone for a while which will mean more classes of course and spreading out. Here is the chaos that is our studio right now.

BIG BULLY BOY

I decided to paint another bully dog, the first one was an accident. It came from an original picture of a line of circus terriers and morphed into this bulldog style dog. Being short on paintings I decided to paint a bookend piece same idea just going the opposite way except this time I actually used a picture of a American Bulldog instead of circus terriers. He ended up with a hat anyway not sure how that happened.

Did this little piece yesterday. It's in a 4x6 box one of my favorite sizes for little stuff.
