I took the clock out of this container because this little thing was so darn cool. Makes a very nice mouse tomb I had wanted to put a bird skeleton in it but it is too small inside. I had some nice leds I have been wanting to use and they fit perfectly along with their battery pack.
glue drying, battery pack just fit, it was a teeny too big so I filed a corner and it fits nice and snug
Dont is done, came out differently from what I thought it would. in addition I am getting ready to assemble a cute little piece. Had some preliminary work to do to clean it up a bit but we are good to go today, stay tuned. The green color over the Indian is caused by a reflection over a fairly thick chunk of plexi, I like what it does, crazy stuff.
This is a new collage/assemblage piece that I'm doing. Took me a while to get this one going although I was pretty excited about my original idea, as art would have it this one was stubborn and went it's own way anyway, despite my best efforts to nip this behavior in the bud, only a few items are glued at this point wanted to do some more rearranging before gluing the final elements. I'm also working on another cute little thing, more on that item later.
I bought a box of WWI stuff of a man named Joseph Minor who was a dentist in WWI. It was a very small box and I guess there was no family left or no one who wanted his stuff. This is one of many reasons I buy things like this, they are an important piece of someone's life and a in this case a part of history which I like to honor by making it a piece of art so it can live on. The box had draft papers, many pictures, letters to his wife, telegrams and various other bits and pieces.
