Started this painting and once I had in all drawn in I hated the face. I kept working and kept going back to the face, way to cartoon-y but......
so finally I just got rid of it completely and did another one which is much better....
started on the background, not sure at this point how many bluebirds there will be just blocking in the veggie mater and bird....
so this is where I am today, this piece is fairly big 28 x 22.
I finished the Queen's stand I think I will have to add more to the bottom shelf but here she is so far. She plays about 12 full length sci-fi black and white movies has a pegasus sign that has 30 some different chase patterns. She is actually that cool...... haven't decided about the bottom shelf yet but there will be something there.
Ok I got, what seemed like a brilliant idea at the time, as with a lot of my brilliant ideas, in retrospect, was well....much less than brilliant...So I tried a change didn't like it, so went back here is the less than brilliant idea.
Bob the bobcat drawing soon to be Bob the bobcat painting. This is my preliminary drawing with a few shadows there's something I want to try so stay tuned until tomorrow. There are some interesting things going on with the map within the cat.
Just finished cleaning this skull of a very large cat who died, the person who gave him to me just found the head with some tissue and hair attached but had obviously been dead a while. No trauma to the skull, all teeth attached, and a few neck vertabrae.
